The 1927 Dodge was offered in several body styles in up to four trim levels, Standard, Special, Deluxe Special and Custom. There were three series over the course of the model year. The first series was introduced on July 1, 1926 the second series was on January 1, 1927 and the third series, produced for only 73 days was introduced on March 22, 1927.

Among them was the two-passenger Roadster Special. 146,001 Dodge vehicles were built in 1927 and whilst that number may seem high, it is very low compared to the 249,869 units built in 1926. This makes the vehicle you are looking at, the 1927 Dodge Roadsters quite rare.
