Trucks in Action (TIA) Pavilion

The National Road Transport Hall of Fame in Alice Springs proudly boasts one of the world's most unique truck collections.

Road pioneer Kurt Johannsen's Diamond-T named "Bertha" has been restored to its original glory by Society members, while Colac-based Merv Brunt donated a number of trucks from his personally-restored private collection. There are also several classic B-model Macks and an ever-expanding variety of vintage trucks and cars.

The B-model Mack revoluntionised the road transport industry in Australia. Many old drovers attribute the sheer strength and durability of the Mack for bringing an end to Australia's large cattle droves.
