WHAT A FESTIVAL!!

What an absolute cracker festival we had last weekend! We kicked off on Thursday evening with Welcome Drinks in the Café Gardens, then to Friday morning with the annual Transport Women Australia Limited Breakfast. Then we were off to the Turf Club for Cummins Cup Race Day. Friday was finished with a gourmet BBQ Under the Start in Stuart's Kitchen.

Saturday was the big day! We started off with the Razorback Reunion Breakfast in Stuart's Kitchen - what a fantastic opportunity is was to meet these legends and hear the stories.

3pm was the main event. The Induction Ceremony saw 64 new inductees welcomed onto the Wall of Fame.

This years Industry Icon, Bruce McIver, was congratulated for his lifetime of service to the Transport Industry.

We closed out the Induction Ceremony with our Inaugural History Makers Award. The recipients of the award this year was the 1979 Razorback Blockade and the delegates; Ted Stevens, Colin Bird, Barry Grimson, Spencer Watling, Jack Hibbert and Carle Goodfellow.

We finished off with a bang, hosting the Transport Women Unite Red Ball. This year saw 25 recipients of the Dream Maker Award, be recognised for their dedication, hard work and commitment behind the scenes and those that support the frontline of the company they work for.

Congratulations to all of our new Wall of Fame Inductees, Industry Icon, History Maker Award Winners and Dream Maker Award recipients!

A huge shout out to the team of volunteers here at the RTHF that helped to make this event a success! Bring on next year!!
