Adrian Gray
Inducted into the Shell Rimula Wall of Fame at ReUnion 2009.
In 1982 Adrian commenced, what would prove to be, a stellar 26 year career with Eaton Corporation Truck Group (Australia) as their sales and service manager for the NSW region, concluding in 2008 with his retirement as their National Aftermarket Parts Manager.
Adrian's loyalty and zealous support of both the Truck Components group and Eaton enabled him to cultivate and impart his wide-ranging technical and in-depth industry knowledge, and to further develop his customer relationships to become a prominently respected and well-known figure in the commercial vehicle business.
Adrian attended hundreds of regional and metropolitan truck shows manning the Eaton displays.
He conducted Eaton Service and Product Training Schools at the 'OK Tedi' mine, Tabouble, Papua New Guinea and he took the wheel of the test Freightliner leaving the Henderson Axle Plant when he travelled to the USA in the 1980s. He was famous in the Australian commercial vehicle industry for giving many Eaton Service and Product presentations all over the country as required.
Adrian's career spanned a total of 41 1/2 years. He was passionate in his pursuit of knowledge, and in providing the best service possible to his customers whilst always looking for new ways to grow the business. His genuine and warm nature enabled him to nurture his esteemed business relationships and his strong friendships. On 30th September, 2008 Adrian retired to enjoy more time with family and friends.
