The love of trucks in 1987 saw his second truck an old LNT Ford (an oldie but a goodie ) join the family business.
Over a period of years upgraded his trucks to a Trans Star then a new T600 Kenworth from Brown and Hurley, Coffs Harbour.
At this time he was sub contracting to Turner's Transport, Yennora, Sydney.
Bob went on to work for Turner's Transport for many years and claims they were the best company he ever worked for.
Trading the T600 for a T900 Kenworth, Bob then contracted to Boral Blaster Board, Brisbane. oing the return Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne run.
His wife Robbie was a big part of R & R Hodder Transport, running the financial side of the business.
Robbie's son Darrell was also working for the family business, driving one of the trucks.

Bob believes he wouldn't change a thing, he loves the highway and the friends he makes along the way are priceless.
