History of this Vehicle:

The Maudslay Motor Company was a British vehicle maker based in Coventry. It was founded in 1902 and continued until 1948 when it was taken over by the Associated Equipment Company (AEC). Along with Crossley Motors the new group was renamed Associated Commercial Vehicles (ACV) Ltd.

This vehicle started its life as a farm truck working on various properties all around South Australia. Don Wilson, from Geralka Heritage Farm, spent years researching its history and restored it to its present condition. It is fitted with an overhead cam which is unusual in a vehicle from that era. The bus body was only fitted during restoration. Don used the bus for driving tourists to and from his farm museum near Spalding, S.A.

This vehicle was purchased at auction from Geralka Heritage Farm after Don’s death.
