Alan Brookes
Inducted into the Shell Rimula Wall of Fame at ReUnion 2010.
Alan was born on 1st January, 1950. He left school and started working with a mail run for P.M.G. (Post Master General).
When he was old enough to obtain a truck drivers licence he started carting blue metal for Pioneer Quarries in Perth WA. Later he went to Shark Bay, useless loop in WA carting salt for four years. He moved back to Perth and bought a semi prime mover and tractor and carted building materials for a few years
Alan and his then wife and daughter moved to the United Kingdom. He was there for five years and had a small transport company. He returned to Perth and started carting cars for Autotrans.
Alan now has a stretched limo and works from the Burswood Casino which he says is a great job where he meets lots of interesting people.
