Brian was born on the 20th January 1940. He started driving trucks in 1960 with his farther carting logs to Perth with an AS162 International, with a logging jinker. Brian also often went down south carting logs out of the Valley of Giants.
He made a change and went into bulldozing and earth moving, clearing for a while. He then went to the north-west to Shark Bay, Useless Loop, carting salt. After four years he went sub contracting for Brambles carting general freight to the gold fields. He did brick and tile carting, later changing to sheep and grain in the central wheat belt. Two years later Brian went to Albany carting of OD transport for six years.
After an accident, Brian returned to Perth where he worked carting asphalt blue metal for various companies. He still drives an S-line International and semi tipper today.
