Brian Ferguson

Brian Ferguson is a person who has a lot of pride in himself, his work with his truck and how the company is perceived by customers and the community. He has been involved in the health industry for close to 40 years, all of them with the one employer but under different owners. Brian is in the rare position where he has worked within the laundry production area for 13 years prior to becoming a driver for the laundry 23 years ago.

Brian has an exemplary driving record. In all the years he has been driving, he has never had an accident and only two fines. Brian has had a brand new truck for approximately 18 months and it is the only one in the fleet of 18 that is without a mark. He would even take the truck home if he could.

Brian has a sound work ethic and does not like to rely on others. Sick days are a rarity and even when he had a skin cancer taken off his hand, he came back to work wearing a glove. Annual leave is more often than not enforced, with Brian giving input into who relieves his run. He would rather give up leave than have a relief driver who does not look after his customers, or worse, mark his truck.

His customer service record is impeccable, with the feedback from clients to Gouge Management being highly complementary to his humble manner and willingness to go the extra mile. Brian is the face of Gouge for the Echuca and Tongala runs in Victoria. A credit to Brian is that his run is one of the most stable within the company. He really values the importance of ensuring the clients are satisfied.
