Today, Roadmaster is a company of close to 100 employees operating a fleet of 43 prime-movers and 57 vans, with all vans having double-loading facilities.Recognising the dangers of operating in a single product market, Denis diversified into interstate transport and then specialised by branching into dry and perishable intrastate cartage. Roadmaster constructed a state of the art terminal at Riverstone, NSW in 1995 and today offers refrigerated transport throughout Australia including distribution fleets in both Sydney and Brisbane. Roadmaster operates on a system called 'total service' providing clients with a large volume, distribution facility that includes ordering, storage, order picking and guaranteed same day or next-day distribution of dry, chilled and frozen foods. The Riverstone site of over a thousand acres contains vast storage facilities for both dry and refrigerated products. The next generation is now heavily involved in managing the company which adds youthful experience and energy to the company. Denis now donates a lot of his time and expertise into supporting the industry through extensive involvement in various state and federal industry associations. Denis began this involvement in 1984 when he became a member of the Long Distance Road Transport Association (NATROADS) and in 1989 became the founding director of the Road Transport Forum.Denis served as the chairman of the RTF from 1993 until 1996 and is still very heavily involved in representing the industry on many issues. In 2004 Denis was a director of the Australian Trucking Association.
