Ross Stuart
Inducted into the Shell Rimula Wall of Fame at Reunions 2004.
Since he first began in 1971, with just the one bus, Ross' total commitment was to his tour passengers. Nothing was ever a problem to Ross. His travellers literally became 'his family.' A trip with Ross from the early days until now has never changed.
Sure the vehicle doesn't throw the bags out of the racks these days, and the passengers miss the fun of the heat and dust inside the coach but the common elements have remained: one returns with a breath of knowledge and a love of the country, a passion to see more.Ross Stuart is a legend among his travellers, his peers and his community. Stop at any roadhouse, caravan park, motel, place of interest throughout this great country and the name Ross Stuart will bring a smile and a greeting for anyone who has had the privilege to share a small part of their life with him, and to be overwhelmed by his endless passion for you to enjoy your experience.Ross Stuart epitomizes everything you could wish for when you travel with him. On behalf of the tens of thousands of travellers he has touched since 1971 it is a pleasure to have him inducted onto the National Road Transport Wall of Fame. After a long and industrious career in the passenger transport sector Ross retired from the road in 2007 and his son, Kevin, now runs the business.
